Anna Renhart has been working as an economist at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research since October 2022. Her research
focuses on sustainable land use and the environmental impacts of food consumption in a European context, particularly the
Common Agricultural Policy. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from KU Leuven in Belgium and a Bachelor's degree in
Economics and Political Science from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of Vienna. Prior to
her position at the WIFO, she worked at, among others, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management,
the European Parliament, and the Austrian Embassy in Bucharest.
