Das WIFO berechnet seit vielen Jahren im Auftrag des Finanzministeriums die Schnellschätzung (Flash Estimates) der vierteljährlichen
Volkswirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnung für Österreich. Diese wird etwa 30 Tage nach Ablauf eines Quartals veröffentlicht; die
Daten werden bereits am Tag zuvor an Eurostat, die Oesterreichische Nationalbank, Statistik Austria und das Bundesministerium
für Finanzen übermittelt. 60 Tage nach Ablauf eines Quartals werden dann von Statistik Austria die Ergebnisse der umfangreicheren
regulären vierteljährlichen Volkswirtschaftlichen Gesamtrechnung veröffentlicht.

Flash Estimates of the Austrian GDP
WIFO has been calculating the Flash Estimates of the Quarterly National Accounts for Austria on behalf of the Federal Ministry
of Finance for many years. It is published 30 days after the end of a quarter; these data are already transmitted to Eurostat,
the Oesterreichische Nationalbank, Statistics Austria and the Federal Ministry of Finance the day before. 60 days after the
end of a quarter, the results of the more comprehensive regular Quarterly National Accounts are then published by Statistics
Austria.
