Der "Nationale Aktionsplan für eine nachhaltige öffentliche Beschaffung" (naBe) ist eine der zentralen Maßnahmen zur Erreichung
einer klimaneutralen Verwaltung. Der Schwerpunkt der Studie liegt auf der Ermittlung des Beitrags nachhaltiger öffentlicher
Beschaffung zur Verbesserung der volkswirtschaftlichen Effekte sowie der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit bzw. Produktivität von Gütern
und Dienstleistungen. Dabei wird der ökonomische Fußabdruck der vom naBe-Aktionsplan betroffenen öffentlichen Beschaffung
quantifiziert und die ökonomischen Effekte abgeschätzt. Des Weiteren wird untersucht, inwieweit sich der aktuelle ökonomische
Fußabdruck durch die Umsetzung des naBe-Aktionsplans verändert.

Impact Analysis and Economic Effects of Sustainable Public Procurement in Austria Using the Example of the naBe Action Plan
The "National Action Plan for Sustainable Public Procurement" is one of the key measures to achieve a climate neutral administration.
The focus of the study is to determine the contribution of sustainable public procurement to improving the economic impact
and competitiveness or productivity of goods and services. On the one hand, it quantifies the economic footprint of public
procurement covered by the naBe action plan and estimates the economic impact. It also examines the extent to which the current
economic footprint will change as a result of the implementation of the naBe action plan.
