Das vorliegende FIW-Jahresgutachten widmet sich der aktuellen Entwicklung der österreichischen Außenwirtschaft. Im Zentrum
stehen eine Darstellung und Beschreibung der Handelsaktivitäten im Jahr 2021 sowie eine kurz- und mittelfristige Prognose.
Die Einschätzung der aktuellen Lage beruht auf vorläufigen Daten bis zum III. Quartal bzw. wenn verfügbar bis zum Spätherbst
2021. Die kurzfristige Prognose umfasst die Zeitperiode von 2021 bis 2023 und widmet sich schwerpunktmäßig dem Jahr 2022.
Die mittelfristige Prognose gibt darüber hinaus eine Einschätzung über die möglichen Entwicklungen bis zum Jahr 2026.

FIW Annual Report. Austrian Foreign Trade 2022
The FIW Annual Report analysis the current development of Austria's foreign trade. It focuses on a presentation and description
of trade activities in the year 2021 as well as a short- and medium-term forecast. The assessment of the current situation
is based on preliminary data up to the third quarter, or late fall 2021 if available. The short-term forecast covers the period
from 2021 to 2023 and focuses on 2022. The medium-term forecast also provides an assessment of possible developments up to
2026.
